Q. When does StockScan scan the market? A. StockScan runs your scans at about midnight at the end of each trading day, however as there are literally thousands of scans to process, we cannot say when exactly you will get yours. However, it will be well before the beginning of the next trading day.
Q. Why do I get an email even if no stocks were found in my scans? A. That way, if you don't get an email from us you know it was probably a technical problem at our end and you may have had stocks found in scans that we couldn't deliver for whatever reason.
Q. What if I use an indicator that is not found in StockScan A. We are constantly adding new indicators to StockScan, if you would like to see a specific indicator and are a paying member, please contact us.
Q. Can StockScan help me build my scans? A. Technically, yes, if you know what you are looking for as we fully support our paying subscribers. However, because we are not financially licensed, we cannot offer you specific scanning advice.
Q. I am getting far too many results! How can I possibly look through all results? A. Try adding more criteria to your scan. The more criteria you add to your scan, the less results you should receive.
Q. Can I obtain phone support? A. Yes, paying members are entitled up to 1 hour phone support a month.
Q. I know nothing about Technical Analysis... Can I use your site? A. Yes, Technical Analysis can be as simple or complex as you want it to be. StockScan has a tutorial designed just for beginners.
